Elja Verkijk

Elja Verkijk is a general practitioner and cosmetic physician who combines these two fields with enthusiasm and dedication. She graduated from Erasmus MC in Rotterdam with a degree in Medicine in 2017. After earning her medical degree, she worked for over a year in the surgery department at the HMC in The Hague, where she gained extensive experience in minor surgical procedures. To practice medicine across the full spectrum of the profession, she subsequently completed her general practice training, including an in-depth elective rotation in dermatology at the HMC.

Her affinity for minor surgical procedures, combined with her interest in dermatology and aesthetics, has always drawn her to cosmetic medicine. She received in-house training as a cosmetic physician and has further deepened her expertise through various training courses and seminars. She can naturally make the face look fresher and less tired.

Elja likes to take the time to understand her clients’ wishes and expectations. With her open and patient approach, she strives to put everyone at ease and works with them to develop a personalized treatment plan. Achieving a natural-looking result is her top priority.
