Kasia Karolak

Kasia was trained as a dermatologist at the UMC Groningen and Maastricht UMC. Since 2019, she has been working at the top clinical hospital VieCuri MC in Venlo as a general dermatologist with a focus on phlebology (varicose veins), blister diseases and cosmetic dermatology. During the week she is mainly concerned with general dermatology and dermatosurgery.

Kasia is originally from Poland, but grew up in Vancouver and therefore speaks English, Polish, Dutch and French fluently. In addition to her medical studies, she has followed extensive academic training with a focus on anti-aging and has been trained in a post-doc for 2 years in treatments with toxins, fillers, laser therapy, chemical peels and preventive skin aging treatments.

During her PhD research during her training as a specialist, she investigated hereditary blister diseases at the microscopic and genetic level. This research, in which she examined abnormalities in various proteins and collagen in the skin, is an enrichment for her treatments in cosmetic dermatology.

Kasia uses the knowledge of anti-aging principles from her specialty in dermatology and the view on not only natural beauty, but also the knowledge of the structure and function of the skin, to optimize her treatments in SOAP. Collaboration with the skin therapists from the great SOAP team is very important. Kasia can give you direction to maintain beauty for the long term, with the help of injectables and skin improvement, while maintaining skin health.

Kasia has consultation hours 2 Saturdays a month in Maastricht.
