What are skin boosters?

Restylane Skinboosters is the thinnest hyaluronic acid in the Restylane range. The water-thin Restylane gives your skin hydration and strength. Because Restylane Skinbooster is the thinnest hyaluronic acid, it is very suitable for superficial treatments such as facial lines, neck, hands and décolleté. These moisturizing microinjections of hyaluronic acid replenish the natural reserves and improve the skin from within.

NB By law, doctors are allowed to treat patients cosmetically from the age of 18. This may soon be changed to older than 25 years. Doctors at Soap is in favor of this.

If your age is now between 18 and 25, the doctor will assess during the (free) consultation whether treatment is necessary or not desired. The doctor always retains the option of choosing not to treat.

What can you treat with Restylane skin boosters?

Due to its thin structure, Restylane Skinbooster is ideally suited for the treatment of the skin. Think of your slackening neck, cheek lines, permanent lines on the décolletéé but also sunken hands. And yes, we regularly deal with those too at DOCTORS AT SOAP!

Is a treatment safe and does it hurt?

DOCTORS at SOAP restores wrinkles due to volume loss exclusively with (temporary) hyaluronic acid fillers. Fillers with hyaluronic acid have been used on millions of people (medical and cosmetic) since 1996, are safe and have no allergic reactions.

We consciously work with the Restylane brand, because this is a brand for which more than enough research data is known about how and what. The results are not permanent, because hyaluronic acid is broken down and processed again by your own enzyme -hyaluronidase.

What are the steps for an optimal effect?

Restylane Skinbooster gives your skin the best effect by applying this water-thin hyaluronic acid layer by layer. DOCTORS AT SOAP recommends using the following schedule for an optimal effect of Restylane Skinbooster:

Start up treatment schedule

Treatment 1 | 3 weeks |
Treatment 2 | 3 weeks | Assess effect.
Treatment 3 only if necessary.

Follow-up treatments

After these start-up treatments, we recommend repeating the Restylane Skinbooster every 4-5 months with a single treatment.

Important to know! Do's & Don't's

Precaution

Do not use alcohol or blood thinners/aspirin 24 hours before treatment.
As a precaution, we do not treat women who are pregnant or who are breastfeeding.

Aftercare

Do's:

• Use ice pack on treated area to prevent swelling
• Arnica cream or other anti-inflammatory drugs if necessary.

Don'ts:

1st 12 o'clock:

Avoid alcohol consumption and makeup (bruise and infection prevention).

1st 24 hours:

Do not perform strenuous activities and do not massage the treated area. Try to sleep with your head slightly higher for 1 or 2 days and try not to lie on the injected zones.

1st 2 weeks:

Extreme exposure to sun, UV light, freezing temperatures and sauna.

After the treatment you can relax with a drink and if necessary with a cool pack to let the skin relax.
We also make an appointment with everyone after the treatment for a follow-up check, during which the result of the treatment is evaluated using photos taken in advance.
